Needless to say, I’m dipping into my folder of people walking into things and mascots falling videos continuously right about now. Today is going to be rough, so set aside some time for yourself. Take a walk. Watch a silly show. Get a manicure. Dip into the leftover Halloween candy. Look around your community for ways to connect with others. For my Croton pals, a great way to do this head over to the Organic Teaching Kitchen today between 10-2 for cooking and tasting demos (energy bites!) and to take a free mini-Pilates class; show your “I Voted” sticker and bring along some PBJ to donate to Croton Caring Committee. If democratic action is your form of self-care, make some calls, drive a neighbor to the polls, or donate to a candidate.
